Shouldn't we as Somalis then accept the SFG will never be a true 'govt' becuz anything done will be cancelled out by the new govt. I agree with an ex MP who is Digil who said that the problem in Somalia is not a Tribal problem but rather a cultural problem.

You have the peaceful culture of the southern Somalis which engage is farming and less pastoralism as well as the coastal Somalis. Then you have the Nomadic pastoralist Somalis who have a violent and expansionist culture.

This is one of the reasons why Somalia is in the current state it is in. Maybe a two state solution is the way to go.

My maternal family who are 'asliyan' afgoye are peaceful ppl but in 91 the northern mudug hawiye came and brought their violent culture which isn't suitable for the south becuz places that are 'settled' by river or farm-lands need to cooperate by nature not divide itself, so they will create social systems like 'degmo identity' or 'xafaad identity' for urban coastal areas, but if u bring the desert tribal culture, it will simply cannot work for them due to the environment being 'settled'. I've preached this for years.

In truth, there is no real Somali government. The SFG is a Potemkin facade that hides the corruption and incompetence underneath. The only 'real' governments that exist in Somalia are the federal states and some are still only paper states

I totally agree. Reer Shabeelada hoose no matter their qabiil are known to be peace loving people. If that's the case why is their region constantly in conflict. It is clear as day this conflict is imported from gobolada dhexe.

This is one of the reasons why my people were pro federalism in the 50s. They knew these two cultures could not coexist so they wanted a way to separate.
