Somalia is playing it out well by allowing for the right place to judge who it belongs too namely the ICJ.

This is political maturity and highest diplomacy at play. Somalia wrapping their arm on Kenya with tantrums and calming situation down.
What we get from that measured and calculated response.
1. Somalia's FGS just protected Somali interests in Kenya with many Somalis trading, living and studying there which any hasty undiplomatic response would have helped the Kenyans to do what they wanted to bait Somalia and make the people residing there pay for the 'irresponsibility' of their own government who doesn't give a damn about them.
That has been avoided.
2. Somalia signalled that it is a responsible country that follows the right guidelines.
3. It leaves the door open for Kenya to escalate the situation if Somalia did respond in a irresponsible manner and conflict ensued Somalia would have been blamed.
