I think it's time for me to slap this often repeated lie about Somaliland capturing anything prior to Laascaanood 2007.

There was a prisoners exchange in Adhi Cadeeye itself in 2005

36 former prisoners of war returned safely to their homes after a year in captivity, following a successful exchange in the Sool region between Puntland and Somaliland.

12 prisoners had been captured by Somaliland and 24 by Puntland during fighting in the region in late September 2004.

Their release followed extensive behind-the-scenes negotiations between the two administrations and military commanders over the past six months.

They had been assisted by the Academy for Peace and Development (APD) and the Puntland Research Development Centre (PDRC), who oversaw the exchange ceremony in Ari-Adeys in Sool. The two organisations had shared information and photographs with the prisoners families during their captivity.

12 Puntland soldiers in exchange for 24 SL soldiers. The life of one Puntland soldier is equal to two SL soldiers. Reminds me of when Israel releases dozens of Hamas militants to get few Israeli soldiers free.

You can see who's in charge. Your major general Nuux Tani came in his military attire and our major general Carays was very comfortable and showed up in his normal clothing, as he's not on an official visit. Nuux Tani was told to sit on the ground as the Rabbul Bayt/the lord of the house Carays hold his speech. This should tell you who was who in Sool prior to 2007.

Sland basically rolled in Laas Canood, with few skirmishes here and there. When they took over, Col. Xiif Cali Taar went there as reinforcement. He died in a car accident on his way to Sool. So if you said that 2000 soldiers were defending the city, then surely our highest commanders would be there instead of arriving after the capture.

This Pureblood is a neef daaqaya who doesnt know shit. Faratoon was always pro SL, the guy that delivered LA was Xaabsade after he got sacked by Cadde Muuse

You already see Dhulbahante killing eachother in Sool . We need to stomp that out so we have Faratoon elevated keeping grip on Las Anod and Faratoon will probably be spending a lot of time in Sool in the upcoming months .

Nobodies going to take Somaliland serious until the borders are closed and it controls everything it says it does . We don’t need limp wrists like Sacad Ali Shire for the upcoming struggle . Give me Faratoon / mahad canbaashe and their foot soldiers so we can close down Sool together .

In Sanaag we will use the warsan defence minister to our advantage . And if I have one suggestion for Muuse it’s to cut Kaahin loose after he stumbles back home from Las Anod and bring in reer Ceerigaabo HY. And strip one more position from HA and swing that position back towards Ciidagale

Xiif Cali Taar also joined AY in Xamar. He went back after the fall of LA. He died in a car accident in february 2008, LA was captured in october 2007. So the 4000 soldiers battle is bullocks.
