Islamic-relief.org.uk. ''Mogadishu was founded by settlers in the 8th century''

It says Mogadishu was founded by settlers in the 10-11th century. How does that make any sense when there are 13th century sources describing the citys inhabitants as being Somali? Did the Arab/Persians who supposedly built the city disappear that quickly?
I quickly went through it and I think its before islam cause it says the arabs were still pagans, whole story seems weird

They say Kilwa was founded in 400 AH by Zaydi Persians. They mention the cities of Mogadishu and Pate were founded 70 years prior. Where were these mythical founders by the 12th century?

Ik xamraa means red too but I don't see the connection between xamar and xamraa, xamar is a tree in somali and there are alot of towns that are named after trees in somalia

حَمْرَاء ( ḥamrāʔ ) is feminine singular .
أَحْمَر ( ʔaḥmar ) is masculine singular .
the triconsonantal root is ḥamar حمر ( ḥ m r / ح م ر ) .

Although chiefly understood as "red" , the word ḥamar ( ʔaḥmar ) sometimes appears in older Arabic sources with the meaning "white".

in Somali , cad = in Arabic , ḥamar حَمَرْ ,
thus ,
Moqadishu cadee = Moqadishu ḥamrāʔ حَمْرَاء / Moqadishu ḥamar
( xamar )

Do we have anything good at this point? is either people copying us and not giving us credit or ajanabis passing on misinformation about our history. We seriously need to get out shxt together and stop with the gender wars and qabilism and start calling out these blatan misinformation and start taking history degrees. I hate we are labeled as primitives with no history by ajanabis. It shouldny get to me but it can brainwash the masse when in fact we have a rich history.

This root of ح م ر is why i believe muqdisho is a somali word. Because this arabic theory of xamar is quite convincing to me but i don't understand enough somali to recognise if the somali theory is believable. Similarly the theory of muqdisho = muuq disho is 100 times more convincing than maqcad alshah nonsense i was hearing

I havent read much sources though so i may be completely wrong
