I heard 23andme falsely adds a bit of Ashkenazi yahudi DNA to people's results so that members of the tribe can sleep a little easier at night. Is that true?

I doubt it. I'm not one for such strange conspiracies. And they'd be found out easy if someone just went onto Gedmatch or used nMonte with their raw data, and that would be embarrassing.

Many full Somalis do have identity crisis issues. They think they're Arabs and go to Ayrabs telling them this ridiculous information only to be laughed at. Its a theory, I didn't say it was true. It's entirely possible that they did arrive in what is now Eritrea. 23andme is 100% true. I think you have cad cad in you and are just triggered.

I'm pure Horner, saxiib. All I have in me that seems non-Somali is some minor affinity toward Xabashis that sometimes looks Agaw. Like the models on nMonte will say I'm 92% Somali and 8% Beta Israel. We have actual censuses of the Banaadir from a century ago and more and written texts and oral traditions from the region. You're being dishonest if you're saying only edgy teenagers call themselves Arabs. Many Somalis travel to the tombs of their Ayrab ancestral daddies like some kind of pilgrimage. It's on YouTube for you to see. Your typical Somali will tell you their clan began with an Arab and see themselves as such. They do suffer from mental anguish; those who believe it are unhinged.

That Xabashi-like stuff is something a lot of random Somalis show in small amounts. It's nothing. 23andme has me as 99% but before they tightened their Somali cluster me and some other geeljires (a fair number, to be honest) would show 5% or so "Ethiopian". It's normal stuff and is probably owed to ancient internal migrations in the Horn where Somalis mixed a bit most likely with Oromos. I am a generic Geeljire, to be honest. Nothing fun.

I have half white brazilian cousins and they just look like typical lightskins. One of them looks similar to my sister. A girl I went to school with was half Somali half Russian and she looked quite Somali, mariin skin and all, a couple of her features were a little different though
