Is there truth to this? (Somali girls Vs their brothers)

Reewin. Lixda Gobol ee Maayland unii leh!
It would be weird if the women were more in the life of crime than their male counter parts
That's true. But what this post is highlighting is the level of difference between the two. There's literally households were the women go to top unis and the sons end up on the streets or low income jobs. Bear in mind this is the same household, same mum and dad same everything. Obviously men end up in jail and crime more but why is there such a huge difference in where they end up.

You have to ask yourself what is the cause of this?

women are less inclined towards violence and crime and fun
but men are
in a school environment where crime for boys is promoted as cool and fun but notthe same for girls obviously boys will fall into it

If the Maaryoole goes to uni he goes into stem rather than social sciences where the xalima is taking her phd in, that's what i'm seeing

Boys rarely go to uni if they do thats in later stage of their life girls have had it easier at school nobody speaks on that issue, why do females excel in school while the boys fail and get no help what so ever wether thats at home or at school

boys get help they just dont want it
the real problem here is the decadent culture in the west, boys are weak to these lower desires and will waste their youth having fun and find education boring, whereas girls dont mind studying all the time and getting good grades and dont care about having fun as much

Never seen it,

But then again I've only seen Somalis in tech/engineering/finance which is largely male dominated, very rare to find a Somali girl in these fields.

Though I do agree there is a larger proportion of xalimos that go into further study than us males. So of course memes like these would make rounds.

Social media would make you believe most Somali boys are involved in crime. A lot of these people who perpetuate this lie are fools.

So are you meant to tell me this is more prevalent among Somalis than madows? The amount of self-hatred among these kids is crazy.

Criminal son usually gives us a good look on the success of the family, most likely the whole family is dysfunctional.

Don’t know were this myth comes from that somali boys especially the tuugs live without consequinces. These man are either kicked out of the house by 15 or send to dhaqan celis, never mind the beatings. Somali parents do not turn a blind eye when their son goes of the rails, they almost immediately cut them off.
Not true when it comes to the overall success of a family. I know at least 5 families on the top of my head that I know very well. All the daughters doing well, educated, oldest son banged up or doing shady activities, younger sons tend to be better due to stricter parenting.

If you knew how much we needed nurses and midwives back home, you wouldn’t be saying this. We need them and hopefully they’ll go back home and help their people.
angelina i like your daacadnimo. but nearly all western somalis aint moving to somalia. half of the new generations are uncultured and cant speak sentence of af somali. :russ:

I never said they're not needed, but it's more of the bragging I'm wondering about..

Depends on the family and if there is an absentee father, shit I got caught as a teen with a girl around the corner from my house, I got beating and then he sat me down, explained that boys and girls can't be friends, informed me he would kick me out if I continue to hang out with that crowd, I ended up moving school where some of my childhood friends went to, I went from fighting 3-5 fights a year to nothing for 3 years.

A good father who is strict goes a long way, a university degree for the new generation is vital, and the likelihood of your kids succeeding if both parents have stable income is like night and day.

Of course. Very easy to say. More men are killings themselves. Self explanatory saxib
Men tend to have a higher success rate in suicide due to the fact once they make a decision they stick to it, while women second think each and every decision, comes from our hunter/forager routes.
