Burundi & Sierra Leone are protecting us. Are they protecting Iraq? They’ve Iran as their saviours, how many do we have? Not long ago, some of you were fighting in the politics room that “our brothers” the Kenyan Defence Forces will protect the legitimate leadership of Ahmed Madoobe in Kismayo while the opposing clan were cheerleading for the Ethiopian forces to intervene and invade Kismayo so as to overthrow him. Puntland and Somaliland were cheerleading for the UAE taking over their ports in exchange for few bribes offered to their leaders while opposing the Turks and the Qataris in the south. The South has totally became subservient to Qatar and Turkey though neither country is interested in protecting them with their own troops. The country has been divided by Sunnis feuding on religious sectarianism. How many husbands do we have? In all the scales of human failures like child mortality rates, illiteracy, diseases, corruption and hunger, we top the ladder. For goodness sake, Somalia has been voted the worst place to be a mother/women and a child. Let’s not compare apples and oranges.

At its unusual session, the Cabinet decided on 25 / 8 / 2011 presenting a humanitarian assistance to the Somali people to fight drought and famine in the Horn of Africa as a humanitarian obligation and solidarity, especially in the month of Ramadan.
The Cabinet also decided to provide (22 500) Twenty-two thousand and five hundred thousand tons of wheat. It was also decided to pay the late amount of five (5) million dollars to support the efforts of the Somali government.

faltering to recover, made a very meaningful donation to the IHH to help Somalia fight famine and water shortage.
The nations that best understand Somalia, which is fighting a deadly famine, are those nations which themselves had to fight oppression and poverty in the past. The Iraqi people are trying to recover from the destruction of the devastating war they went through, but they are not remaining silent to the humanitarian crisis unfolding in East Africa. A number of charities in Iraq handed the funds they raised to the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation.
The Iraqi nongovernmental organizations that the IHH contributed to during the Iraqi War and still supports sent the funds they raised among themselves to the foundation to be extended to Somalia. The funds that the Iraqi people donated to our foundation to help East Africa fight famine will touch the hearts of the Somali people.
