What they fear is the locals start gain big wallets and start to build flashy new houses in the thousands and then businesses, and even fancier hotels, they fear to kick-start an economy that is locally driven or else they may lose their edge in the market place as more local business people start to get stronger. They saw it in 1940s in world war 2, states formed on national identity. We don't want nabad n noolal sending us to war against our region like somaliland clearly shows what happens when u promote nationalism.
