The West isn't a monolith. In two decades from now Europe/West will probably be far right and anti homosexual. Populism is the new wave and people are gravitating towards a new political ideology and philosophy that will most likely not be as tolerant of LGBT and other groups as they are now. Having said that, Europe and America have had far right activism present far longer than Muslims even existed in these countries. Fascism in Europe in the 1930's had nothing to do with Muslims. These are embedded in Europe culturally and socially. The only reason why they're so vocal about 'Muslims' is because it's allowed in mainstream discourse whereas its not as popular relating to other groups. But make no mistake, you're black and gay. The 'West' will have no mercy for your likes either, if populism wins.
When people have somewhat of a decent living standard they may tolerate you. But when the economy crashes or things go on a downward spiral, they transform. Don't feel too comfortable. You clearly haven't read European history.

This is not true. Most people in the west are center right politically. When ever studies has done and average people get asked questions, thats where they lean. Hell up to like 2010 obama was anti gay marriage and so was hillary and dems until they made a political choice to change side to get votes. You are defending a politician who is playing political game using gays to create alliance. How does being muslim woman wearing hijab during ramadan protest for the lgtb make any sense?
