If greater Somalia happened

They are very dumb. We are the most homogeneous group of people and Somalis have been intermarrying between qabils for centuries. We have each others blood via our mothers and the same tr

Ah yes and once Majeerteen becomes as big as Darood you’ll be splitting off into different sub sub tribes.

This is the inevitable conundrum of the low IQ qabilist. The issue isn’t the difference, it’s the lack of tolerance and hateful dim witted amongst us cannot accept any difference. It’s like the Arab poem, me and my nation against the rest until it’s me and my cousins and against the rest until brother vs brother.
Don’t be so flippant, we are a nation not a tribe. We have a history before Somalia. I don’t advocate for or on a qabilist platform.

Puntland nativist platform. do more research!

What is coonish about nation building and having serious debate about the future of our people?
I remember you used to a Somali patriot my brother, I guess the smiling donkeys fuckery broke your patriotic spirit.. I truly believe we Somalis are one people through, diin, language and a century old intermarriage.. We don't need to twist the truth and claim fake differences in ethnicity because of bitter politics bro.. Think about it, a tribe is not a race nor a nation.. Don't end up like the idoor seccesionists who've blinded themselves into believing they're a different nation and a different race/ethnicity due to qabiil.

I don’t really care about idoor truth be told, I’m more concerned about my land, I have direct stake and livelihood in mudug. We must think this through. Bleeding heart MJs (who aren’t Puntlanders) and this “puntland must save somalia” monkey business has gotten us entangled in the zoo.

Bro Somali unity and strength is bigger than MJ or mudug, look at the bigger scheme of things, a strong and united Somalia would benefit us all equally, our enemies want to have us divided and keep us weak, I know you are a smart brother, look at the bigger picture.. Our enemies have divdeded us and forced bad leaders and a bad system on us, this is the only way they can keep us down.. Don't fall for their traps bro.. I know many Somalis are low iq and cannot be reasoned with, but that doesn't mean we should give up.. You see countries like Ethiopia, how many ethnicities come under their flag? How about Kenya and various other countries? Why are these countries not divided or fragmented? By dividing ourselves into smaller nations or tribes we'll become weak and bigger nations would use and dominate over us, even at times use us for proxy wars against each other.. Our division wouldn't necessarily bring peace and prosperity to Puntland as you think, it might even worsen things.

Somali unity and strength can’t come about, the educated and ruling class were practically decimated and fled in the carnage of the civil war, some of our elite survived and came home, founding PL. why are we going to throw their inheritance to us all in on a reckless gamble?

What business is it of a puntlander what happens in garissa or dire dhaba? We have “actual” enemies far closer to home.

It’s disingenuous because everyone knows that’s a Somali-Bantu cultural practice.
Issue is that some Hawiyes living in Xamar have took on the practice and do it at weddings and other qabils seeing this wrongly assume this is their practice when Reer Meey Hawiyes are also usually scandalized by it and tbh even amongst Xamari Hawiyes a girl doing this at weddings publicly will be judged. Most families would be disgusted, even they lowkey see it as low class behavior.

First all what happens in Garisa would affect us, because firstly we are Muslims, Secondly we are brothers and sister and thirdly when you are a weak one qabiil nation other countries will seek to exploit you and your people. Even the EU has formed a union of multiple countries, why do you think so? While you are conditioned to divide yourself into village lines..

Truth of the matter is the blue flag is flying high in every city in Puntland. The people of Puntland are very patriotic and would never accept a seccesionist ideology.. This is the truth sxb.

Abdisamad, this is all talk. All we need is a strong leader and oil and one that will distribute wealth. The Khaleeji countries were no different to us 80 yrs ago. They were split of into different Arab clans who would routinely kill and invade each other until oil was found and luckily for them they had high IQ leaders that forced them to unite and create a nation state. Main difference is that Arabs have a healthy respect for hierarchy though

InshaAllah a strong leader emerges to unite the whole country.. This mindset of dividing our people into villages is not healthy.

@Abdisamad @Zak12 @The Oponian Guild @Devilsadvocate

I was thinking today. We place a lot of blame on qabil, but the biggest issue for Somalis is that Somalis do not respect authority and no group of people will rise and create a sustainable nation or kingdom without some sort of respect for hierarchy and accepting rulership.

I’m reminded of this quote of a Ugandan doctor in the 1910 in which he said:
IMG_7849.jpeg

I remember when I first read this, I found it funny, but upon closer inspection, it’s actually a tragic state of affairs that is a by-product of tribalism in many ways but also separate. This is the sickness that afflicts the Somalis. They are without doubt ungovernable and if you look closely at world history, super powers are those that have citizens that can be steered to greatness and listen to their leaders.

The Somalis are a group of people filled with hubris, but nothing to show for it. They won’t listen to the best amongst them, because as noted by the intelligent Ugandan more then a 100 yrs earlier, everyone thinks he is a mini king or believes that an elder in his clan is more deserving than another man from another clan- even if the other is superior in every department.

This sickness I describe I’ve noticed in everyday exchanges with those raised primarily back home. I’ve noticed they’re over confident and will even debate with people who know more than them and claim to be right. Everyone is self important and believes they’re the wisest.

I feel for any future emerging politician who has a real vision for us because this is the nature of our people which is detrimental for any real progression.
