If Ethiopia were to collapse, how would it affect Somalis as a whole

If Ethiopia were to collapse, it's very possible that millions of Oromos would pour into Somalia and overwhelm our cities and our limited resources.

Somalia would also somehow be pulled into the conflict.

I think Galbeed's borders would probably just be what its current borders are as the "Somali Region" in Ethiopia. The reality is Harar and Dir Dhaba would probably go to the Oromos since they have a larger population in both cities, and a larger population overall

It definitely would. But I don't think Galbeed would join until we get a stable government. And they definitely wouldn't join until Al Shabbab is destroyed

We'd have a humanitarian crisis as people flood into our land. Not as much as those that would leave for the west but enough. Somalia is not in state to manage it, we're barley managing our own issues. Galbeed would be back though and that would mean we'd also have them to aid in easing the flow. Somalia needs to be in a far better situation to take full advantage.

I say we need to push all the way to Harar. In the case of total war, it’s going to be anarchy and if Somali militias get guns and arms from other qabils or the gov we could push to reclaim Harar and the neighboring towns.

Harar is just one city, the Oromos would probably defend that place like Stalingrad, doesn't seem worth it
