They have really long history of conflict with Issa, the Afar-Issa feud has lasted for centuries and has been extremely brutal for both sidesFor no reason aswell.

Tbf it's not like the argument you could make for some anticolonial Europeans made after WW1/WW2, where maintaining the empire is a drain on resources/institutions so let's just conserve resources and instead live in a developed social democracy. If Ethiopia collapses again, like it did in 1991, the Oromo will be tempted to reconstruct it like the TPLF/Tigray reconstructed it. The TPLF could have opted for secession, and handed the reins off to the Amhara/Oromo. But they could not resist the temptation of running Ethiopia and chilling in Addis. As a result, their people experienced a genocide 8 years after the death of Meles.
If Ethiopia collapses, the Oromo will be face with a similar choice: let Ethiopia go the way of the Soviet Union or Yugoslavia, or put it back together and rule it yourself. I am sure that the Oromo will try to put it back together as they will see losing power as unlikely due to them being the largest ethnic group.
Never underestimate hubris.
probably more to South Sudan, Kenya and maybe Somalia cause the Ethiopians too scared to come cause of al-Shabaab.If ethiopia collapses its looking long for east africa. You will probably see millions of displaced ethiopians coming to the somali side.
So be it I would advocate for Harar being retaken no matter the cost.Harar is just one city, the Oromos would probably defend that place like Stalingrad, doesn't seem worth it
You should be more terrified of rabies, it has a 99.9% death rate unless caught very early.

Really? I mean I get that it's historically significant but doesn't that city belong to Hararis and not us anyways? So be it I would advocate for Harar being retaken no matter the cost.
We were responsible to protect the Harari's in there and the Harari's are WAY closer to us than those Oromos and Harar is literally the center of the Islamic world in the horn and doesn't deserve to be under the pagan Oromo who have impurified the place.Really? I mean I get that it's historically significant but doesn't that city belong to Hararis and not us anyways?
Harari back then referred to the inhabitants of the town, not an ethnicity so like New Yorker. When Richard Francis Burton travelled to Harar, he noted that were were 8000 people in the town, 2500 of which were Somalis (possibly even more since there were also 3000 unspecified nomads) so yes Somalis used to have a significant presence in the town before Menelik II's conquest and purge of the Somalis there. We were also the ones to built the walls of the town to begin with.Really? I mean I get that it's historically significant but doesn't that city belong to Hararis and not us anyways?
Not good for Somalia, millions of them would flood the country, especially those Oromo. Next thing you know the White and blue flag of Somalia is replaced with the dirty pagan flag of Oromia and Xamar is renamed to Galla.
But Ethiopia won't be allowed to collapse anyway, their population is far too big. If Europe thinks the current migrant crisis is bad just wait till Ethiopia collapses and millions are crossing the sea.
Other African countries could be destabilised by the sheer volume of refugees.
Dang what's up with the Oromo hate? Not good for Somalia, millions of them would flood the country, especially those Oromo. Next thing you know the White and blue flag of Somalia is replaced with the dirty pagan flag of Oromia and Xamar is renamed to Galla.

You're objectively incorrect through, Hararis are genetically and linguistically closer to Oromos then Amharas and Somalis. I have no incentive of claming Harar, I'm just telling you the truth. We were responsible to protect the Harari's in there and the Harari's are WAY closer to us than those Oromos and Harar is literally the center of the Islamic world in the horn and doesn't deserve to be under the pagan Oromo who have impurified the place.
Because they were assimilated. Do you want to abandon Dir Dhab when it becomes fully Oromo? You're objectively incorrect through, Hararis are genetically and linguistically closer to Oromos then Amharas and Somalis. I have no incentive of claming Harar, I'm just telling you the truth.
It doesn't. All that needs to be done is to kick Oromos out and reverse assimilateOk, and how does that change the fact that Hararis are closer to Oromos then Somalis?
I didn't say this. Then why did you say Somalis are closer to Hararis
Because they have been expanding massively and assimilating minorities including Somalis and right now they are trying to expand into Galbeed. You are probably Oromo so you don't understand how much more numerous the Hararis and others were in the past.nd why would you support kicking out people from places?
Hararis are genetically and linguistically closer to Oromos than Somalis. Many seem to think that the Somali region would be immediately reabsorbed back into Somalia proper. There's a possibility this could happen but it could come at a large price.
Oromos are the largest ethnic group in Ethiopia, and they're already pouring into Somali cities and chipping away at our land.
If Ethiopia were to collapse, it's very possible that millions of Oromos would pour into Somalia and overwhelm our cities and our limited resources.
Somalia would also somehow be pulled into the conflict.
Lol are you delusional? Harari's are closer to Somalis than you Oromos and thats facts bolstered by historical evidence and we are talking about HARARIS who are non-existent since you Oromos have wiped the poor peoples out and thus many are assimilated and speak Oromo and the majority is Oromo but dw rn we are waiting for Harari results to come in and it would be 110% Somali. You're objectively incorrect through, Hararis are genetically and linguistically closer to Oromos then Amharas and Somalis. I have no incentive of claming Harar, I'm just telling you the truth.
