Hutus acting up again

I also heard the Tutsis are the descendants of Ajuuraan and Garre. Not sure how much truth to it though.
I never knew that until the guy in the video mentioned it. From what I gather the Tutsis are actually more Maasai shifted. And they look sort of similar. I think their inputs are probably more closely matched. They likely have South Cushitic admixture and have nothing to do with Eastern Cushites. I don't know why they do not claim to also have similar origins to Nilosaharan groups too. :cosbyhmm:It would explain the body type. Being tall and very thin are very sought-after traits.

I've seen some of them claim a connection to Nilotes as well, however, I don't think they actually are all that closely related to any of our groups.

@Shimbiris:

Do the Tutsi have any genetic relations to Nilotes?

Oddly, enough I've seen Tutsis that have no Bantu admixture. :cosbyhmm: They are indeed a confusing group. Given that most have E3a paternal lineages but there are some with E3b (South Cushitic branch though). Anyway, if they cluster closely with the Maasai then they probably have some Nilotic admixture. They are more Nilo than the Luo (who are more Bantu than Nilo and probably just swapped languages).

It's possible given that they lived somewhere in Southern Kenya prior to their migration.

I'll run the models again sometime but they're basically 70-75% Cushitic (can be modeled as pretty much Somali, in fact) and the rest is a mix of Bantu, some Nilotic and SE African HG stuff like Pygmy and San type admixtures. The height to some extent most likely comes from South-Cushites who were remarkably tall based on the archaeological remains we have.

Aren't contemporary Cushites i.e Somalis rough 40-50% Proto-Nilo. No wonder Tutsis are clustering with Maasai. They have similar inputs.

Why Somalis claim them ?
Some dir even said they have a whole song for tutsis
I think they claim Horners in general. They seem to like us and are naive that we as Horners do not like each other. That's what happens when you're a minority I suppose. Anyway, I never heard Dir claiming them plus they don't have a T haplo nor a Eastern Cushitic E3b subclade. But let them claim us. I don't care. At least they are thin and tall with sharp features. It beats being claimed by gnome people or those with timo everywhere and beaks.

No ,I mean we Somalis claiming them also ,apparently there's a whole song for tutsis in Djibouti saying "dir is tutsis father" or something like that.

Never heard that. I don't think anyone would claim them if they looked Bantu. Let's keep it 100. It's because they are pastralists. They were genocided for their appearance and perceived foreignness aka being Cushitic-adjacent. And Somalis have no bad blood with them either.

They're about to get macheted again damn

Better get to Rwanda to sample the cute Tutsis before they get wiped off the face of the earth again

Hey sis, the Tutsi trace their family tree to the Horn of Africa. That has been how elders passed their lineage to their children. More specifically, their traditional elders claim having Somali ancestral roots than any other horner groups.

Are you actually retarded
:mahubowtf:

Why would be retarded? Don't you realize this haplogroup thing is a new phenomena? People existed before the haplogroups were discovered, and from father to son and daughter, they conveyed their family tree. Just talk to the Tutsi elders if any survived from the genocide and have them explained to you!

p.s., I've added a caveat to all of my comments that "I don't know how much truth to it".

It seems some here have reading comprehension issues.

That's cool and all but they are related to South Cushites and Maasai moreso than Eastern Cushites. From what I have gathered.
