You and your friends either live in an exclusive alternative reality or this is just a classic case of delusions of grandeur. To be honest; when I speak to quality women, they have a list that is even more detailed than this.
I condensed it to make it more realistic.
Again your either talking about female's back home or you live in an alternative reality, in our community no female consults her wali and the wali himself has no authority over her.I am talking about educated, beautiful, chaste women who follow the sunnah and involve their mahrems in decision-making. They don't leave room for error.
Every diaspora female fends for herself on the street for a husband, they look down on arranged marriages and automatically turn down any male the wali or mother even dares to suggest.
That's the reality in the diaspora, unless of course your talking about Asian and Arab families, or the Somali Cad Cad community that have managed to maintain their culture from back home and the wali is the one that takes care of things.
We agree on this, but those types of female's are not found within my own community, hence why I plan to go back home and do it there. These are the type of women you want to be the mother of your children.
The problem is that a lot of men think women can be swayed with flowery words and superficial things when in fact, they just need to see you meet the requirements of a good Muslim husband.
Our Xaalimo's consider marriage in the latter part of there 20's when desperation kicks in, they have no interest before that and those that do tend to be the ones that failed in their educational pursuits and marriage becomes a backup, or those trying to escape tyranny at home.
