Now we should support Tigray to take revenge on Amhara, and then after a decade repeat the cycle by supporting Amhara

That’s the story of Ethiopia. Ironically, Amharas who were the most ardent supporters of the Tigray war and excused all war crimes because they thought they would annex western Tigray, are now crying about genocide by the same regime they supported.

Now, they want us to ally with them against Oromos. I ain’t trusting the same people who want to ride on my back until they get power, only for them to come for me right afterwards. Jokes on you kkk:drakekidding:

It's an old video. I remember seeing it at the beginning of Tigray War. That being said, Wargnomics made a doc recently about this particular topic. The never ending cycle of historical grievances that fuels genocide & famine. The big 3 particularly Amhara, Tigray & Oromo been going at it for +300 years.

And you think Amhara reign of Ethiopia would be better?
No, after Amhara freedom fighters get rid of this genocidal regime, the Tigray or oromo liberation should seek for democratic and liberal Ethiopia and save the country from Amhara tyranny.

I’ve seen people online say that the Ethiopian government is extracting oil from k5, is this true? I know that ONLF attacks prevented this from happening in the past, but now with Cagjar in power has the government begun extracting the oil?

Yeah I heard they were building a pipeline in galbeed. Another reason why they are desperate for a port so they can export oil/gas that they stole from OUR land in somali galbeed and export them from OUR ports and land, We are actually being cucked so hard rn.

The Ethiopian government have been saying forever that they will extract oil and gas reserves in the Somali region. Every administration have meet with petroleum companies to explore and start drilling, but nothing has come out of it yet, even if they intend to exploit those reserves as soon as possible.

When Abiy came to power, they tried to revive the agreement with the Chinese company Poly-GCL Petroleum Investment Limited after 'set-backs' due to ONLF and local objections.

Their plans included building 700km liquid natural gas pipelines linking to Djibouti, a liquefaction plant and an export terminal in Djibouti. The Calub and Hilala fields were planned to be the first blocks to be exported.

The government then came up with a revenue sharing proposal, in which the federal government would take half and let the regional government keep the remaining half. (broad daylight robbery!!!)

As time went by, the date for drilling kept being pushed forward. 2019. 2020. 2021 etc. The oil company wanted to start off with generating 1.4 billion USD for the Ethiopian state. And grow to 7 billion USD over the coming years.

Fast forward to 2022, the government cancelled the contract for the oil company due to 'financial and organizational inability'.

I haven't heard anything news-worthy ever since. Filsan Ahmed/Abdi was a former federal minister who recently made an extensive report of the past and future of the oil and gas of the Somali region. I tried to find the report, but I don't remember where it was published.

But yeah, the Ethiopian government is serious about exploiting the natural resources of the Somali region. They just haven't been successful yet. Once they it happen, don't expect the our region to benefit from any increased revenue. It will remain being stagnant in terms of development compared other regional states.
