No, after Amhara freedom fighters get rid of this genocidal regime, the Tigray or oromo liberation should seek for democratic and liberal Ethiopia and save the country from Amhara tyranny.

The Amharas fighting the government are mostly FANO. I hope you don't regard them as freedom fighters, lol.

In all honesty, whoever takes the kursi next will try to stay on as long as possible. Neither Amharas nor Oromos want the other to be in power. Both of those ethnic group seek hegemony of their own, regardless of whatever freedom label they refer to themselves.

Only Tigrayans have been humbled to the point that, from now on, they only want as much autonomy as possible, preferably confederacy/independence.

If you want to destroy the central government, Amharas are the last ones to make it happen. You're better off supporting Tigrayans, followed by Oromos. But any infighting will lead to a weakening of the Ethiopian state.

I’ve read that since Cagjar is in bed with the Prosperity Party, K5 has begun to see a lot of development. Is this true? And if Cagjar is pro PP, why is K5 still not as developed as the other regions? Will there ever be an Ethiopian government that isn’t hostile to Somalis?

Also I’ve read that Jigjiga has had a big increase in its non Somali population over the last few years. Is this true? I read that a lot of the workers in its hospitals and banks are Amharas for example

I’ve read that since Cagjar is in bed with the Prosperity Party, K5 has begun to see a lot of development. Is this true? And if Cagjar is pro PP, why is K5 still not as developed as the other regions? Will there ever be an Ethiopian government that isn’t hostile to Somalis?

It’s true that more development have been allocated to the Somali region under the current administration. But I meant that the region have been neglected for so long that it doesn’t match what the we need or what some other regions get. It’s the second biggest state after all. Also, many of the development comes through local & diaspora who finance it themselves.

This particular reason is why I said that any oil and gas revenue would most likely not be guaranteed to materialize in necessary developed as it would be controlled/spent by Addis. They were talking about using such a fund in part to cover the financial woes of the country.

I wouldn’t necessarily blame on ‘hostile’. As long as we're part of the country, Somalis will have to be assertive and demand their fair share rather than be ran over by the politically dominating ethnic groups who seek the interest of their own people. Only.

That’s the story of Ethiopia. Ironically, Amharas who were the most ardent supporters of the Tigray war and excused all war crimes because they thought they would annex western Tigray, are now crying about genocide by the same regime they supported.

I see, that makes sense. As always brother, thank you for answering my questions on K5. You always provide good information on what’s going on. Inshallah our people in K5 will be able to take advantage of the chaos currently going in the region, and get some sort of benefit from it
