FGS should break that chain and be an ally of JL. And then PL will really have no leverage.

Puntland is the only state that exist in full, 2 regiona or more. The rest are paper states with little to no power, limited to their single AMISOM protected town. You are indulging in your own fantastical reality when you cite those places as if they exist.

Even Jubbaland itself is more important to the federal government in Xamar, than Puntland.
First Jubbaland is a little more diverse than Puntland, where's dominated by one subclan & calls all the shots.
Secondly Jubaland is also food producing State and has huge alsheytan in their state, so to fight them the FSG, needs Jubaland and all the local clans support.
Puntland gets huge chunk of the aid money, receives unfair amount of special treatment and is very unaligned member with the SFG.

Surface water isn’t the only source of water. your pretending as if it’s 100% impossible for a nation to survive without agriculture. Look at the gulf, are they starving?

Somaliland Farmers still manage to grow there crops despite living in a very Arid country/Desert climate similar to Puntland.

If Deni supports HSM, HSM might try to reduce the booq and avoid Banadir State
