How much business will the Berbera Port take from Bosaso Port?

What do you guys think? Will the Berbera port reduce revenues for the Bosaso port?

It already took nearly everything.

Bosaaso can't handle containers and the authorities in SL made a deal with traders in PL where they're tax exempt and only pay port fees and only pay customs at Tukaraq.

Which is why PL region admin had that whole meeting to put 500% tariff on his goods from Somaliland but that didn't last long as they're too over reliant on cross border trade

First Bosaso is small port and Berbera can handle large container ships, nevertheless Bosaso is punching above its weight, for example in the last 4 years more livestock were exported from Bosaso, in 2020 1.8 million exported from Bosaso compared to 1.2 million in Berbera.
most of goods in Puntland to Beledwayne are imported through Bosaso, the only time they use Berbera is if Bosaso port can't handle it, another issue is the double taxation, if you come from Berbera and going to Puntland you have to pay Somaliland taxes and then Puntland taxes.
in a nutshell Berbera didn't reduce Bosaso port revenue, let's look at the numbers, I will compare the revenue generated from international trade tax in Puntland from 2019, 2020, 2021.
Q1 2019: 9.2 million, Q2 2019: 9.1 million $
Q2 2020: 8.3 million $ (decreased because of corona), Q3: 9.7 million $.
Q1 2021: 11.6 million $ Q2 2021: 11.5 million $.
You can find these reports in the ministry website, if Berbera is taking nearly everything where is this increase of revenue coming from.
One other thing mentioned is the marine traffic website, which only counts the large ships, and most of the Bosaso port traffic are large dhows that carry the goods from Oman or Dubai, here is Bosaso port 3 weeks ago.

You lie too much, I think you expect nobody to call you out on it. The 200% tariff is still in place, everything from Laascaanood gets taxed.

Bosaso has gained the livestock exports in northern Somalia and kicked Berbera to the curb.

Since 2018 you have exported less than Bosaso and now lost the market share altogether. Livestock is the main source of foreign exchange currency. So it's Berbera that has lost custom to Bosaso despite being upgraded.

Where is the 2021 chart for Berbera? why finish at 2020 for one and 2021 for the other.

Finally in 2020 106k cattle for Berbera and 64k for bosaso. 51k camels for Berbera and 9k for bosasao. Bosaso only leading in sheep/goats with 700k more.

So more of the little livestock and less of the bigger heavier livestock. Which makes sense since only small ships go to Bosasao.

A lot of people don't understand that Berbera isn't a threat to Bosaso and vice versa, Berbera serves Somaliland and Ethiopia, and Bosaso serves Puntland and central Somalia, otherwise you will suffer double taxation. that's why Bosaso port revenue increases every year and Berbera port doesn't affect it.

Since 2018?
However, in 2019 Berbera exported more?

One of the main reasons why exports fell since 2016 was partly due to works on the port in the first place but more importantly the "ban" on SL livestock.

Just wait till the full 2021 data on exports is out. To give you the heads up the total livestock exported in the first 6 months this year is 1,207,334 which is more than Bosaso port which stands at 884,660
