It’s a can of worms thats been open for far too long. Israelis are obviously the main perpetrators of harm but there is an element of malfeasance on the side of Palestinians. Main one being that they’ve allowed groups like Hamas and PIJ (which are obviously extremist in this context) usurp legitimate moderate liberation orgs like the PLO and PLFP thus making any resolution a non-starter. Optics is a big part of the game.

Palestinians should push for a secular one-state solution or some form of ethnic federalism a la Ethiopia. In the former, they’ll demographically eclipse Israelis but there’ll have to be some form of compromise on social norms. The latter entails a “2 in 1” state that allows both Israelis and Palestinians to preserve their ways of life under one govt

They weren’t Halacha Jews and their Haymanot religion was just an Old Testament focused religion it was not Judaism.
