Tbh I've never had racism from what I know atleast to my face. I've had only one incident of islamophobia but that was only when I was outside my city; I do normally get really nervous when I'm in a area with not many muslims but luckily I'm not in those places for more than a few minutes, I'm only there to get things done and leg it onto a bus or uber.
But there's quite a few somalis in Birmingham and alot of muslims so alhamdulliah I've not experienced anything big.

Me and somali friends once got called paki from across the road from an old guy when we were in this cadaan area but I think that was more islamophobia than racism since we weren't Asian and I think he saw our hijabs abayas and stuff and was trying to be islamophobic

Since muslims are basically everywhere in the west midlands, i can safely say no, never been a victim of direct racism but i have witnessed racism few times against romanians on the bus
