Has anyone escaped call centres? Is it too late to escape at 26?

Bro you can do anything you set your mind on, the only thing that’ll hold you back is yourself. The most powerful think on this planet apart for God is your mind and your will.

if you really want to study coding, I highly recommend this site called free code camp. It’ll teach you everything you need to know in the IT industry. Whether you want to become a programmer or a business analyst. And it’s completely free, millions of hours of coding at your finger tips. Signed up for this course myself years back, but realised it wasn’t for me and know I’m studying Law. Good luck my friend and best of wishes.
Thank you so much. Will check this out, I will need to work out what path i can go into within this industry. Thanks again

Been doing this for 5 years now, I left university at 22 2/3 years in and have no more chances of getting a loan to fund the final year, genuinely do not know what I can do to escape. Has there been anyone who has escaped ?
I don’t have customer service experience. But I remember speaking to this lady who worked in the customer service area of my old job. She came from a call center background. She was hired at that job and they taught her things outside her normal tasks where she gained more skills until she eventually became the supervisor there. At one point, she left the job to try a completely different line of work with the new skills she acquired at that job.

Google what other job fields someone with your experience can get into. A quick search showed me quite a few. Leverage your transferable skills. You have five years worth of experience. Once you get into a new career, either start saving up money or see how to climb the ladder in that profession.

You’re still very young. You can do so many things.

IT will hire you, train at a job that pays only 15 dollars an hour (gaajo) until you get your A-plus certificate, then transfer to one that gives you more money. You could make over 30 or 40 dollars an hour in a few years.

Go into customer success or IT. You have a lot of Customer service/relations experience you can def use it. I’d recommend finishing collage tho as it’ll give you more opportunities

I don’t understand why most men don’t just learn a trade? At least most women know cooking and homemaker skills at least partially,

most men nowadays are soft and don’t want to do hard labour. You could be earning 50k+ working at a camp, or plumbing or carpet installation.

It's never too late to do what you want, even if you are middle-aged or even elderly, who cares about age etc.
I agree with everyone here, do a part-time trade course so that you can always have extra income. You can even fix your own home and bonus, women love a handy man so that gets you brownie points socially.

Also, look up extra courses to do, you can start an apprenticeship and a few companies even pay for Universities.

its too late at my age to go into trade school and its over saturated with 18-20 year olds who can get the funding for it

No it's not too late. Where there's a will, there's a way. If you can't get a loan then maybe hit up relatives, if that's not an option then live in a shit box for another year whilst saving every single penny. Work like a dog and save the money for tution, I think they'll still lend you the maintaince fee if you're in the UK. There also hardship grants you can apply for and most unis will offer some sort of financial aid to struggling student, again, depending on if you're in the UK.

Life can change drastically in a short period of time sxb. Don't let the zoomer fàggots on here demoralize you. I nearly went down the "coding" rabbithole when I was in a similar situation before realising that most companies would rather pay a pajeet 1/5th of what they'd pay me. Now I work for a FSTE 100 company and will become a project manager in 3yrs or less inshallah.

Set a goal/intention and diligently work towards that, day and night. Everything else in your life should just be background noise. Have short-term achievable goals in mind and focus on those for now, thinking long-term can be a deteriment if you don't a clear goal in mind. "I need to have xyz in place/accomplished by X-date" etc. Get a day planner if you have to sxb.
I’m very chill. I literally put my brain on autopilot and zone out in that 8 hour shift. Sometimes a good customer will give me a nice smile and a boost of positivity/energy. But I’m laid back
I've been where you are sxb, all I can say is don't get comfortable. You'll be in that autopilot, vegetative state without realising the last 10yrs of your life have just flown by.

Because it's a young man's game. Talk to any tradesman over 40/50s, most of them have severe knee or back issues. You're not walking away unscathed after being hunched over or spending 7hrs+ a day on your knees/awkwards positions for a decade.

Stop being silly nayaahe:bell:

And you also can convert your credits into different degree cause you still have credits it’s called convertion degree many universities do it

Warya if it’s a young man’s game then your supposed to learn young lol? A woman doesn’t learn homemaking skills when she’s 50.

Ask most young able men nowadays if they can fix a sink, or a toilet or repair a wall let alone a house and most will tell you they hire someone to do that. That’s like your wife telling you to hire someone to cook and clean because they don’t know how lol.
