And? There peak isn't comparable none of those countries have the effect Romans have on our society today we use Latin languages we use Roman calender these are the small things that people use today.Bruh Italy has been no where near a continental threat since the Romans that is the only reason I gave them a mention on the list. The Uk for all its might couldnt take more than Gibraltar on mainland Europe and resorted to economic warfare to enact its will. Russia was a military machine but culturally backwards. Germany was a military powerhouse and a center of and an economic hub since the 800s. France was the strongest medieval state in all of Europe, the most populous Western European country until Germany unified in 1871 and leading the force in the Enlightenment. Germany is self explanatory as #2.
Im counting the historic predecessors of the countries as well. "Germany wasn't shit"And? There peak isn't comparable none of those countries have the effect Romans have on our society today we use Latin languages we use Roman calender these are the small things that people use today.
You said Historical Achievements not the last 200 years achievements.
You overrate these European countries the German weren't shit before mid 1700s same as Russia UK only lasted at max 2-300 years even then ottomans were seen the dominant group in europe.
France was stuck in war zone with some success at times.
Funny how you don't hold the worthless history these countries had pre 1600s against them but handicap Italy for post Roman empire.
Also Russia got humiliated by one of asian countries and were seen as weak well into ww1 and even after stallin was the best thing to happened to them.
Ottomans have accomplished more in Europe history then either germany/france/russia
Between the 3 Russia had the most impact you know near hundred Soviet existence
Germany history is 2 failed world war
France is running away from Paris and colonizing naked africans with infighting for most pre 1900s they had some military success but nothing real valuable
Britain had 1/4 of the world, and was the place where the industrial revolution began. Enough said.Im counting the historic predecessors of the countries as well. "Germany wasn't shit"
This is what Germany was and was the major reason the Ottomans didn't conquer past Vienna. That blob at one point was in union with Hapsburg Spain (Same German royal family) and cleaned up South America and destroyed Ottoman prospects in the Mediterranean. Germany in both World Wars was able to overpower multiple great powers simultaneously and only lost WWI because of the timely American intervention and arms supply/loans that propped up the British and French. They beat Russia so badly it triggered their looming civil war, and never lost an inch of its territory own territory on the Western Front. World War II was a repeat but this time the Russians were too much but the rest of Europe was conquered or forced off the continent, which is an achievement. Ill give a reason why France deserves #1 after you respond to this
How many civilized and advanced peoples did they manage to conquer? They had Canadian and Australian wastelands and even with a colonial empire their industrial capacity was soon outmatched by the United States and Germany before WWIBritain had 1/4 of the world, and was the place where the industrial revolution began. Enough said.
I would encourage you to go look at Louis the Sun King and the European Wars of Religion, The Crusades, The Wars of the Austrian Succession and the Napoleonic Wars and see who was dominating the conflicts. France has won the most wars out of any European nation and been involved in the most wars.France has always been overrated
I cant give Britain that high of a position because it could never truly impose itself on Europe which is the hallmark of a military power
Im aware but my list has Historic Achievements, Military Prowess, and Science and British military prowess even with the navy lacks too low to encompass France or Germany imo
