In part III of this volume includes all the Treaties, Engagements and Sunnuds, relating to the Arabian and African Coasts.
Zaila and Tajowra were placed in a separate category from "SOMALEES"
"SOMALEES"
There is also another Engagement included under the "SOMALEES" category (though not highlighted on the contents page)
An Engagement concluded between Lieutenant-Colonel W. L. Merewether, C.B., Political Resident, Aden, and
Sultan Mahmood bin Yoosoof, Chief of the Mejerteyu tribe of Somalis and elders of the said tribe.

- Treaties, Engagements with "TAJOURA AND ZAILA", "SOMALIS" and "SHOA" are now sub-categorized under "DANKALI COAST AND SHOA"
Also, In this revised volume there are some slight variations regarding the history of Somalis.

A map is also included in this revised edition, unfortunately the relevant half cannot be seen.
The more noticeable differences are:
-Agreements with the Sultan of Socotra are now included
-Agreements relating to Socotra are categorized in Part III - "Treaties and Engagements relating to Africa".
Unfortunately, there's no further information about the various tribes, and language/s spoken in Socotra at that time.
