Yep the landscape gave it away, those pictures are from northern Sanaag (HY lands) specially Cershida and Ceel Dibir.

The entire Sanaag region doesn't have a airport or port so it will take a while. Plus it doesn't gets fair share of the international aid money to north Somalia (one of the reasons I oppose Somaliland region).

If the clan is more organized, the elders control it. If the clan is in disarray, any member of the clan with a gun controls it.
