Concrete is many orders of magnitude more expensive for roads where I am from. I'm not sure why north Americans do it so much.

Probably because area soil is soft so concrete will strengthen the road soil.

There's are options if you have bad ground like stabilising. I never built a road of concrete, and I've only seen one concrete road in my city.

The work on the DDS side has commenced, albeit delayed by the .Et conflict, and hopefully shall be completed in time to coincide with the .So side, which is in the works.

@Thegoodshepherd the DDS admin did their built and built the road on its side the border. While HSM did a development isbaaro on the 3G road and told the African development bank it's not federally authorised and the African development bank got tangled up in a legal mess, what's sad they may reallocate funds to a country that politically stable and mature . I would prefer being part of Ethiopia as they don't do such petty isbaaro(unique pagan culture)
