For the very first time, a tanker vessel carrying liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) is set to dock at the port of #Garacad in #Puntland.

Previously, this type of fuel, primarily utilized for cooking purposes, had to be imported in containers from other nations. However, with the availability of the #Port of #Garacad, the region can now receive #LPG directly via tanker #ships.

They won't pave anything until the very end. Trucks can cause a lot of damage to the road. It's the repeated loading by overweight Trucks, and the Trucks with lots of Axels turning at intersections that do the most damage. Cars hardly do any damage.

This is a huge deal as it can help make the port revenue fairly quickly. Importing commodities with a guaranteed market is smart.

This may also prove helpful in importing bitumen in bulk for road construction. The road from Garacad to Galdogob may end up needing as much as 25,000 tons of bitumen.
