I don't care what anyone says, a man who doesn't have the natural inclination to pay for a woman he is with, is defective. It's biologically ingrained for a man to protect or provide. Some of you need to check your testosterone levels because something is wrong with you.

You are absolutely correct. Why spend thousands on a woman who isn't your wife, it's financially irresponsible.
If you can’t uphold the responsibility Allah has put on you as a men than respectfully just fast until your able to provide for a women.
Guess what? A woman will offer to pay but just to see if you are a broke/greedy man. So if you allow her to pay, she will either judge you forever, or most likely, never go out with you again.
Even in poor countries, men who have a job can take a woman out SOMEWHERE. It's the most basic requirement for a man, to be able to provide. So if during the dating process, you can't pick up the bill, guess what? You are unfit for marriage.
