This is the biggest evidence that Islam is truly a religion of peace. Muslims are not perfect, but when millions of muslims come together with the intention of following Islam exactly how it should be followed it makes for the safest environment on the earth. to me if I looked at it based purely on my own reasoning without looking at the Islamic standpoint on things... to me Holi sounds like something very innocent. they are playing with colors? that sounds very innocent.
but because of the clear Islamic evidence, I know that none of these non-Islamic holidays should be celebrated. and people who follow their desires get so mad and angry when you say that it's haraam to celebrate Valentine's Day, Christmas, Halloween, etc.
but all of those days came from paganism and if they are okay then Holi should be okay too. and now look what Holi is leading too. to the person who looks at it objectively, it is very clear that all those holidays I mentioned should not be celebrated by Muslims. the evidence is very clear. and Islam is always right and has always been right about everything. it is disappointing that people want to follow their desires and object when you tell them what Islam says- and that they react like this rather than seeing the great wisdom that is in the din.
