Everyone is benefiting from the status quo exept the Somali people. The way it is looking now there will never be a united SNA under the command of Ministry of Defence. Once the SNA captures all of Somalia and it isn't used to kill our people then and only then will the embargo be lifted.

We have sent thousands of soldiers to join the SNA but that doesn't change the fact that the FGS and SNA are both dominated by people who have severe cuqdad against us.
Even with all of that, I would take any chance to see the south become peaceful, even though there is a high chance that they will use their shiny Turkish weapons to attack us again.

But those soldiers now take orders and their salary from Xamar. They can't influence the anti-Puntland decisions they make there. They aren't even trusted by the rest9fnthe SNA. All they can do is defect in the event of another civil war.
