Neither of them said its black culture. I’d have an issue if they were claiming its theirs but they aren’t. The first 2 went to a Somali wedding so why can’t they wear it?

Personally I think something with colour would look good.

And something that pays respect to our nomadic history.

The issue is clothing is designed for specific purposes. While I would wear these in a heart beat, they aren't suitable for the cold damp nations our parents decided to flee to. I think we can make new cultural clothing but it takes time and we're preoccupied with issues back home.
