It was a news article that didn't provide any sources. And at the time when Trump was running for office, there was a huge campaign against the Somalis in that state from the far-right. This is a purple state, meaning it can go either way in the election. So that is why they were negatively targeted. Hence, the emphasis om the Somalis in that state.,

However, in Australia, it is a government agency issuing the stats. That is the difference.

Additionally, the news story that you keep citing didn't exclude the senior citizens or the disabled who are already off the labor market. Nor did they exclude the self-employed trick drivers, as many Somali men in that state are in that profession,. There is no 53% Somalis unemployed in Minnesota. Show me statistics from a reputable institution, not an opinion ed. In fact, Somalis in Minnesota have higher unemployment than the African Americans, whereas in Australia Somalis median income is $378 per week, and everyone else, including immigrants, earn $655 or higher per week. The national poverty line is $423 per week. So the Somalis in Australia are even earning below the poverty the line. That is a disaster.

Nah you’re mistaken my guy, I didn’t link a news article. Minnesota compass is a social indicators project led by a foundation that tracks data about the state. They source their data from the surveys conducted by the U.S Census Bureau, so it is government collected data.

Yes you shouldn't blindly trust what's written on wikipedia because they can use bogus sources. However, you can verify if the information added to wikipedia is legit by checking these sources yourself. The wikipedia numbers are literally from the U.S census. If the existence of a government in Somalia is an issue, why Ethiopia, Eritrea, DRC, and other countries were prioritized? Somalis in Australia and their dismal performance and gang violence are the root causes why Somalis are declined for resettlement in Australia.
