@Periplus They need to knock down these Public Housing towers in Melbourne. These freshies all choose to live here when they can be spread out across melbourne so they don't create a 'ghetto'. Even our towers are far more safe and cleaner then the shit u see in Minneapolis. Every new private apartment development has to zone like 20% for public housing, this means these freshies will be spread out and can't congregate in one area. @Periplus the other thing is alot live in public housing flats, one member is either legit welfare and the rest of family working or maybe all cud be getting welfare and then working cash in hand, either way they need at least one person on welfare or else they can't get public housing.

So they end up paying less on housing while earning market rates in jobs. Those cunts are the ones who invest in new homes in somalia, becuz they save so much as their cost of living is capped by concessions to electricity-water-rent.

@Mujahid Nur Marehan the disabled get disability payment. It's around 2k a month, it is permanent payment also not time restricted, infact all payments even unemployment are not time restricted. Technically someone can get unemployment benefits all his life and then switch to age pension and not work a single day of his life.

The disabled get special priority for housing and pay 25% of they're payment and electricity-water and all those costs is capped for them. But they also can access something called NDIS, the national disability insurance scheme. So they get free maid or cleaning for their home, all the equipments they need paid for like motorized wheelchairs or special beds, even IPADS.

They can join organisations that pay for their short vacations. They get taxis paid for. The disabled, single mothers, seniors are taken care of the most as these are deemed vulnerable segments.

all new house land packages follow the most up to date designs. That's why in OZ u will find homes from 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s period, it's always evolving. It's common to have swimming pool in your home. My mate even had a 'tennis court' plus a pool

Many of them will admit that getting stats on Somalis here is difficult.

Blame the chinese investors, they dump way more money into homes and inflate it in the process, a home that is technically 500k, they will overpay twice as much for 1 mill and this makes every street n suburb adjust to the new prices. The govt really needs to expand affordable housing zones and ban foreign investors so it doesn't inflate again. Somalis did the same thing in mogadishu, inflating property prices with their diaspora money and now it's unaffordable for locals to buy or build.

This happens in Scandinavia and Uk as well. Hell both of my brothers live with my mum who gets her house paid and the two fvckers pay no rent. I live on my own and pay my rent. Statistically I’m doing better than them. In reality they doing better than me. This is why you can’t rely on stats on Somalis
