Women and basically all human kind are ungrateful. The better you treat them, the more disappointed you’ll get. Everything should be balanced. I employ nowadays 3 people and I learned a lot about human psychology. Walahi I use to treat them excellent, gave them raises and lunch allowances. When they did overtime, I use to bring them pizza and shawarma. When I saw they were becoming ungrateful and unappreciative, I stopped all that. Now it’s all business. You worked 12 hours, you get 12 hours. You want a raise? Go to the next employer. I give the what everyone else is giving.

People in general are naturally ungrateful all of us are to an extent unless we check ourselves once we are show one thing we expect it and don't show gratitude. You only realise you took it for granted after you have lost it.

That's just called having boundaries and self respect so people don't walk all over you and disrespect you. The movement you start respecting yourself they will start respecting you. If you act like a fan you'll be treated like a fan. So yeah never over do it moderation is always key. Over doing or under doing is never a good idea in anything.
