Can you post any historical sources supporting your claims and not kunama oral tradition?Pls dont lie majority of them were hoe farmers as they lived close to rivers and had multiple kingdoms but they were heavily raided and enslaved by habesha, yes some were hunter gatherer, their history been completely erased just like the agew and others
That map is wrong the coast is dominated by Tigres, Tigrinyas and Sahos. Rashaida literally make up 1% of Eritrea, Afars make up 3%.they're not much of coast people, 100% of eritrea coastline is shared between afar, saho cushitic and the rashaida immigrants from saudi arabia

U think am naive uneducated about u lands, they kidnap u folk when u set foot in their territory how u saying u live there, they make big money kidnapping native Eritreans like tigresThat map is wrong the coast is dominated by Tigres, Tigrinyas and Sahos. They are a minuscule proportion of Eritreans. Rashaida don’t kidnap people for setting foot on their land. They are involved in human trafficking however and the government turns a blind eye to this as long as the profits are shared. If I’m perfectly honest, they aren’t “real” Eritreans either. They don’t consider themselves as such and the legend goes that only one Rashaida fought in the Independence struggleU think am naive uneducated about u lands, they kidnap u folk when u set foot in their territory how u saying u live there, they make big money kidnapping native Eritreans like tigres
First of all watch your mouth who you call pagan. Your people bring guns to their church ceremonies. Second of all, there is no evidence of a wife called kunamae. But there is evidence of a kunama king named bazinKunama were pagans all throughout the rule of Axum and were hunter gatherers. How could they have ruled an Orthodox kingdom that was in communion with the Byzantines? One king of Axum had a wife called Kuname
kunama is a lie but Axum was an Agew kingdom, Habeshas invaded from Yemen and destroyed it, it’s like if Germans said we were romans or if indo-aryans said “we wuz indus-valley”This is kind of disingenuous. There were people under the rule of Axum that weren’t habesha but it was a Habesha dynasty. It was bloody Orthodox ffs. This is like habeshas claiming Adal sultanate because some of them were under its rule
False. Kunama actually were the first settlers of the city of Axum and named the city itself. The habesha simply invaded and confiscated the city and erased all prior history.kunama is a lie but Axum was an Agew kingdom, Habeshas invaded from Yemen and destroyed it, it’s like if Germans said we were romans or if indo-aryans said “we wuz indus-valley”
Habeshas didn’t come from Yemen per se nor did they destroy Axum (the opposite). Modern day Habeshas are the product of Sabeans and Agews mixing. This had already occured before Axums inception. Pagan is not an insult lol. It’s a fact that until recently, Kunama mostly subscribed to traditional animist beliefs that can be classed as paganFirst of all watch your mouth who you call pagan. Itoobiya ha buur buurto they have always had something against usI knew they had something against us. Why would they write such false things about us?
Kunama are nilosaharans who moved to Eritrea in the 1600’s, a part of them were ancestral to the Shumageles people who enserfed Tigres.False. 1600’s? What are you talking about bro. You know nothing about kunama history. If I came here talking crazy saying that Bantus are indegionous to Somalia and y’all migrated 500 years ago from Sudan you would be heated.Kunama are nilosaharans who moved to Eritrea in the 1600’s, a part of them were ancestral to the Shumageles people who enserfed Tigres.
You're correct on most of your stuff but the vast majority of habeshas aren't descendants of recent Sabean intermixing, Especially the further south you go. It's mostly just a semetic elite that took control and converted the rest of the aqew pagans to their cultureHabeshas didn’t come from Yemen per se nor did they destroy Axum (the opposite). Modern day Habeshas are the product of Sabeans and Agews mixing. This had already occured before Axums inception. Axum was for the most part Habesha
I always wondered, why aren't Tigre considered Habesha? Is it because they're Muslim? Isn't their language the closest one to Ge'ez?See: Medri Bahri
Anywhere on the coast that is of economic importance, there are Tigrinya folk. The majority of the coastline that is barren is inhabited by more esoteric/traditionalist rural ethnic groups. If you’ve ever been to Massawa or Asseb you would know that the Eritrean coast is lowkey death. It’s way too hot and arid to sustain a large population. That’s why most Habesha, Bilen and Tigre live in the highlands where there is arable land and it’s cooler in temperature
