The fact you’re insinuating that SL residents see Somalia as another foreign country shows you’re not being genuine.
SL shares a language, religion, culture, ethnicity and presently, a country with Somalia.
As has been made clear by the UK, to get recognition, SL needs to deal with Xamar. The FGS won’t even consider talking until they’ve got their house in order.
When that happens, the idea of Somalia having better opportunities isn’t far fetched.

My point was to your argument that Landers would be fine with re-uniting with Somalia, if it meant greater opportunities and better lives for them. I agreed with that, but that point has nothing to do with Somalia and everything to do people wanting to improve their lives irrespective of their politics. Hence why I pointed to other far-fetched fantasies such as uniting with any other country, as long as it meant improving their own lives people would be fine with it.
But now you independently raise that point of Landers seeing Somalia as another country, they do. In the same way that they see Djibouti as another country inhabited by other Somalis. In fact, Landers traditionally have more in common and share a closer bond with people in Djibouti and other Somalis in Ethiopia then they do with most Konfuurians.
I have no interest in pointlessly rehashing your view of the recognition issue for millionth time. You can take that to the millions of threads you Konfuurians have about that. As you yourself correctly pointed out earlier, that is not as a big an issue for us as it seems to be for you Konfuurians.
