It’s better to put that 50k towards a house here. They’re not building wealth in their primary country of origin, instead they blow it off on the third world, with nothing to their names here.

Normally it’s people who own a house in the west and buy second homes in Turkey.

I don’t mind investing in Turkey but I wouldn’t study or live there. When it comes to education British standard is one of the best in the world competing with the US. Germany is also one of the best option in the EU with world class universities and low cost. Germany is one of 3 European powerhouses making German language the most economical valuable language to learn in Europe surpassing French and Spanish. Somali parents should send their kids to top countries only.

Why would you assume they are going to speak English. Turkey isn't like the UAE where its made up multiple nationalities, it's an ethnic homogenous country.

You either didn't study management at university or learn the basics of investing into a different location, as customing to yourself to a new whole culture ie learning the language, understanding your target audience, is an important aspect of any business person looking to establish themselves into a new market.
