The mothers of the believers ( the wives of the Prophet S.A.W ) covered their faces.
It is not compulsory, however some scholars are of the view it is recommended.
It isn't going against nature as women have been covering their faces well before Islam. Upper class Arab, Greek and Roman along with other ancient women wore it.
So? That still doesn't prove it isn't against our nature.

Islam itself is extremely prudish when compared to other religions which probably stems from middle eastern culture. I wonder what made ancient Arabs very obsessed with virginity and chaste women.
I think it's safe to assume you're an atheist. Islam doesn't stem from Middle Eastern culture at all. But rather Arab culture is affected by Islamic teachings. And the Arabs of the time weren't 'ancient' by any means.

Clearly you have no knowledge of even the most basic and fundamental principles of Islam. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH was the first person in recorded history to declare there to be no superiority of one over the other based upon race or ethnicity, but rather the virtue of their character.

That doesn't fit at all with the cultural norm of the Arabs of his time. Neither does the prohibition of the mistreatment of women. They would bury their baby daughters alive but he corrected that. The Arabs were also Pagans so Islam is at odds with it if anything.

Feminism has been a disaster for female's, the reprehensible views of the OP is already mainstream among the Non Muslims and its starting to slowly creep up with the Muslims too.
The poor female's thought they would have it easy, but now she is required to work on top of child rearing which is virtually impossible.
Many of them are forced to make a difficult choice, either abandon having children all together or delay this until it's too late and take their regrets to their grave.
The Rockefeller's instituted feminism in order to tax the other 50% of the populace, which of course as a result drives wages down to the point you need both households to work to survive now.
When both parents are out working they now have access to the children from a young age for indoctrination.
Ultimately this arrangement benefits the male who has no fear of Allah, and the biggest losers are the females who have shouldered more responsibility while sacrificing there short prime.
