But SL is a nation itself, and there are five nations in Somaliweyn. Not one.
But unified with chaotic parts? Doesn't help at all. Just makes things worse.Still divided

But after the genocide and given the hatred and anarchy why bother?Fix the chaos but somalis don't want to fix it.

Folks at SSPOT are allowed to voice their opinion. If some of us believe separation is good, then we can post comments expressing our opinion.Djibouti wanted to join Somalia but the french rigged the election. Because Somalia was a communist state back then. On the other hand, Pl/south was part of the Italian Somaliland. Don't listen to those lunatics on SSPOT. If the international community still refuses to recognize the British Somaliland what makes u think it would entertain the idea of a sub-clan with a population less than Mogadishu to declare "independence"? Just thinking about makes me laugh wallahi. Like who wants to deal with 5 different Somalia when they can just deal with 1 Somalia
Plus, Just because what is now PL used to be part of Italian Somaliland doesn't disqualify Puntland from seeking independence should it choose to go that route. Puntland can argue before it join Italian Somaliland it was a separate entity called Majerteenia or Majerteen sultanate.Djibouti wanted to join Somalia but the french rigged the election. A number of influential countries have already officially recognized Somaliland. I think you misunderstand, the only reason we're in this perpetual state is since the UN stupidly thought it'd be good idea to let Somalia decide. And their wants are irrelevant. It's not about that though. They were the enemy.Sometimes you gotta swallow your pride for the greater good.
You don't speak for us akhi
Majerteenya will become a country inshallah
Well, I'm MJ too and I know most of us support unity with Somalia. But I personally think it's a big mistake. The clans of the south hate us and our state the most. They can't stand the fact that we have stability and self governance with no Amisom and other foreign troops on our soil. They always wish the worse for us. They probably pray every day for our destruction. Their hatred for us is much stronger than their hate for the Isaaqs iyo SL. They can't get along among themselves and build a proper functioning government. It's a waste of time to wait for south Somalia. Again I think it's a big mistake to remain part of failed state of Somalia. I hope my folks wake up one day and say goodbye to Somalia.Well im Majeertain and the Majority of us wants Big Somalia ..the sooner separatists understand this the better the future..nobody wants a cartoonic states with ugly flags with thiefs wearing crowns..dancing for foreign entities..and acting like pawns for foreign agendas...spreading the cheeks for the highest bidders ..while pocketing loose change donated and little villages get flooded with by little sprinkles of rain
can you please name 1 "influential country" that recognized Somaliland as a sovereign state?A number of influential countries have already officially recognized Somaliland. The problem I have with Somaliland is that the younger ones hate Somalia because they think they were the only ones targeted during the Kacaan.
The current youth have been brainwashed to have cuqdaad, that's what I don't like about them
It's not about that though. They were the enemy.
You are totally delusional, nobody in the south hates about Puntland, kulaha "the clans in the south hate us"Well, I'm MJ too and I know most of us support unity with Somalia. Biggest qabiilists I’ve seen are the ones that hide behind unionism. And it’s only because their clans are too weak to hold their own
People give somaliand to much attention than it deserves. There a small langaab powerless tribe situated in the north west of the region, let them stay there and calcaalaal about 1988
