I have seen few but I'm very curious as to how this ajanabi step father treats his somali step children if you know any?. And to those step children do you feel inclined towards his ethnicity, and what is his ethnicity?

Never heard of it, my grandmother never officially got divorced, she just left him, he had 3 other wives(yes he was a sheikh), she just took care of her children and her business.

I have seen women marrying their dead husband's brother, not sure how common it is now, but seen it with the older generation.

It's disgusting. I would never do that. Its treason
So if a Somali woman remarried because her former partner was abusive and the man she married is ajanabi and he treats the children well that's treason? how? and the children aren't denying their biological father. They say "dad" out of respect since he's taken on the role.

Nah thats mank. I pity those kids. How can you have more than one dad. That's crazy

Imagine some Somali kid calling a his White Step-dad, who stepped up, "Abo".

I'm sorry, that's just revolting.

I know is something that we aren't used to and basically out of the ordinary but we shouldn't call it revolting rather it's shocking to many including myself but it does happen.
