All the Somali businesses I've been to, mostly in Columbus and Minneapolis, were all selling things decently priced. Obviously they are not gonna have prices as low as your local Walmart or Target, considering that they are small, family owned businesses, they do good and sell fairly.

With Muslim owned businesses, I've noticed that it's only first generation idoits who open up small businesses that sell their shit with outrageously high prices. I ain't gonna buy a hijab that costs 20 bucks!

I've noticed that many Somalis, black people and other small owned businesses like to guilt trip people into buying their cheap overpriced garbage. For example, the "Indian" raminadime. She's hopped on the new tactic a lot of these small businesses are using, which is "I'm a poor Somali and Black owned business! You should buy my overpriced qashin instead of buying from evil white people!".

She literally sells butterfly jewelry for $60 on her "dimedrip" that you can buy on aliexpress for $2, and uses her being a Somali owned business to lure miskeen Somali people into buying her scam. It's ridiculous. Please beware.

Even if they are overpriced you should let them do their thing cause they wouldn't be a business if there wasn't a demand for it. I haven't seen ones that actively tell people buy from me I'm Somali.

There was a Somali shop near me at my previous place, but since the owner was a Benadiri/Reer Xamar I didn't patronize it.

I went to the Turkish shop instead. It was cheaper and had pretty much everything.
