I think r/somalia is majority diaspora but I’ve been seeing Kenyan-Somalis lately, the quality has gone down, lots of relationship questions

People from all over the world use Reddit most are western but there are lots of third worlders too.

The sub is called r/Somalia so the fact that there’s a minority that were actually born and raised in Somalia shouldn’t be all too surprising

It’s a common theme on reddit for country subs to be mainly diaspora/western communities, not just us.

They don’t speak Somali in r/Somalia so they’re not fobs.

plenty of fobs can speak english really well, so can sijuis

I’m saying most are diaspora but there are some fobs in there that speak English and are educated. I know cause I’ve interacted with them on the sub
