Somali Genes and The Future of the Somali Cushitic Race

Nin Rag, I don’t do Qabil Talk 🚫
100 years ago the Somali Phenotype

would've been Cushitic Darkskin, Straight nose, Curly to 4c Hair, Tall There's a pattern that Somali Genes are becoming weaker and weaker our Ancestors were much taller and darker than Somalis today an it's because more Genetic diversity have been introduced into our gene pool bantus, cad cads etc...
because Somalis have intermixed outside
Original Ethnic Somali features/Phenotype is less common Today than 100 years ago

straight nose, dark/brown caramel skin, Tall

When a ethnic pure Somali intermixes with Mathows (SSA), Arab, Indian, Asians our Genes
become weak but when a Somali intermixes with Cadaans our Phenotype is more compatible with some groups than others

I am not Advocating for replacing our Somali sisters with Cadaans or any other group Our beautiful Somali sisters Halimos are irreplaceable they gave birth to us and we should respect them. but instead of us intermixing with Arabs,Bantus and Cad cads(mixed South/West Asians why not intermix with a population more compatible with our phenotype preserving the Cushitic race we need maternal genetic diversity otherwise constantly intermixing among each other would be incestual and the greater risk genetic problems for example Somali children with Autism in the West therefore I am of the opinion that we stay homogenous Paternally and Maternally we marry more compatible races instead of Pajeets, dhegacas and reer Dhagax a miniority of Somalis mix out and those that do should keep in mind the future of their kids wouldn't you want your future kids to look more Somali

Puntland and Somaliland, Somali Galbeed are more homogenous and it's safer although we have individuals who clearly have mixed blood genetically (Deni) Even Cirro president of Somaliland who has the Cushitic skin but not nose/facial phenotype East Somali tiktoker and more Farmaajo, HSM, President of Hirshabelle etc.. have The ancient ethnic Somali look unmixed.

All those minority groups have been tolerated and welcomed in Somalia because of Islam but is it a coincidence that the most problematic area of Somaliweyn today is the most foreign influenced Genetically they contribute nothing to Somalis besides Xalwo? Niiko? even Somalis watching Somali dubbed Bollywood Films

If things continue like this we will end up like mutts hindis we are less homogenous than our ancestors today 85% are ethnic Somalis in the past that would've been higher 90-99% ethnic Cushitic Somali even marrying out with our fellow Horner neighbors as crazy as it sounds might be better for preserving our Cushitic identity

I have a lot more to say on this topic and my beliefs
Thoughts? Do you disagree W/me or Agree only ethnic Somalis

I’m confident in saying this: some of you clearly have unresolved identity issues, and that’s what fuels troll farms, rage baiting, and obsession over race and looks, it almost feels like some weird online rebellion.

The real solution isn’t memes, edge lord posting, or arguing about who is “more Somali.” It’s finding balance through therapy, work, faith, or personal reflection. In our religion, there is no race; there is only humanity and brotherhood.

Whether you choose to marry a Somali, someone else, or have a mixed background yourself (as some of us do), it doesn’t take anything away from your worth or your children’s future. Focus on character, faith, and community, not genetics.

That’s the path I intend to follow moving forward.

Walaalo while I respect your opinion I don’t agree I believe a ethno state Somalia will lead to a better Peaceful Somalia most of our history our Awoowes had peace through isolationism not mixing with outsiders and look at Sudan,Yemen, Palestine today and there are forces trying really hard to destroy Somalia from within and if we accept that we might as well accept death.

The Arabs and Bantus both have a common interest in keeping Somalia divided and destroyed so what brotherhood are you talking about they can be our Brothers far away from my Dhul

Somalia was never an ethno-state, nor was it isolated.
Our history shows the opposite: Somalia was a cosmopolitan, globally connected region shaped by trade, mobility, and interaction with many peoples. We had diasporas across the Indian Ocean, red sea and we integrated newcomers into our social structure, lineage systems, and cultural fabric.

Throughout history, Somalis formed alliances and intermarried with Arabs, Muslim Ethiopians/Eritreans, Swahili/Bantu speakers in towns, and others. These were not threats , they were part of the political and commercial networks that strengthened the region.

During the medieval period, the Somali region was aligned with Mamluk Egypt, Yemen/Arabia, and the Muslim Indian subcontinent. There was extensive exchange of knowledge, goods, and people. Europeans who visited even observed this clearly:

The Europeans even noticed this and said "Thus, this princess, thoroughly informed about the interests of both nations, seems in her conduct to have acted upon the most judicious and sensible principles. She knew that Adel, by its situation and interests, was inherently commercial. That part of Africa, along with the opposite Arabia and the peninsula of India, formed three partners united in one trade. They mutually consumed each other's produce and contributed to exporting the combined goods of the three regions to distant parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa—the three continents that then constituted the known world. "

You can read the full part of it here:

This is part of our historical identity: a trading people, not a closed-off xenophobic one.

Even the medieval conflict with Ethiopia was not racial , it was driven by religious persecution and the need to protect trade routes and Muslim communities. The xenophobia was mainly from the Ethiopian Christian side; Somalis were defending their religion, allies, and economic lifelines.

Our real geopolitical decline began when we lost our strong Muslim allies and European Christian empires entered the Indian Ocean. They saw all Muslims , Somalis included , as a target in their crusading worldview. That destabilized the region and cut off Somalia from the networks it once relied on.

This pattern continued into the 20th century:
This loss of strong, reliable Muslim allies is also why Somalia eventually aligned with the Soviet Union and adopted a superficial Marxist posture , as a strategic necessity to counter the United States’ support for Ethiopia. Even then, the Soviets never fully backed Somalia, largely because of Somalia’s Islamic identity and their preference for a stronger, Christian-led Ethiopia.

. And after the Cold War, we again became a target in the “War on Terror,” because of our religion which crippled state building efforts.

So no , our setbacks were not caused by genetic dilution or lack of “ethnic purity.” They were caused by geopolitics, religion, and loss of strategic allies.

Every successful country today benefitted from:
– powerful allies
– technology transfers
– strategic partnerships
– stable regional relationships

Somalia lacked those due to global politics, not because it “mixed” with Arabs or Bantus.

Today, Turkey seems like the most natural long-term strategic partner for Somalia. And the diaspora can become a powerful economic and political force if it organizes properly.

If Somalia stabilizes, it could easily become a regional anchor for Sudan, Yemen, and the broader Horn, just as it historically was.

You can also see positive changes happening in Ogaden and NFD:
increased autonomy, economic growth, political inclusion. These are opportunities for renewed regional cooperation with our neighbors, not isolation.

However Idilina i dont believe in the wholesomeness of any foreign ally as you are suggesting. We have seen how the turkish company managing aadan cadde is conducting itself discriminating somalis and dumping waste. And we have seen how the uae is implicating punland and somalia in their sudan genocide via bosaso airport and probably taking their gold

Im not delusional meaning i know somalia cannot do anything extremely technical without foreign expertise and partnership But it is paramount that their influence is curbed and that transactions occur on our terms. All the historical examples you quote are of exports and somalis officiating the trades but in modern day somalia seems to import most of dealings rather than exporting product

I think we are past demographic management. Most western country can't even broach the topic. Perhaps we can start with proper waste management. Even better we could try halting desertification in the southern interior of the country.
