The only correction i'd make for video is that Sudan should've been placed as a part of the Horn of Africa rather than North Africa for historical, genetic, linguistic and cultural reasons, since the Horn of Africa (including Sudan) has acted as a genetic bridge between North Africa & Sub-Sahara/Black Africa.

You guys need to stop using the Horn of Africa as the term when only Somali lands are in the Horn of Africa, Sudan is very far from it, the only Ethiopian part in the horn is Ogaden, if they were to lose it they wouldn’t be part of the horn either

Only the part in blue is geographically the horn, these non Somalis need to stop using our terms

You're a clown...Somaliweyn & Horn of Africa are two completely different things.

The Horn of Africa encompasses Somalia, Eritrea, Ethiopia & Djibouti which are the main constituent countries...sometimes Sudan is also considered a part of the Horn of Africa as well for genetic & cultural reasons.

I also hate how people include it into North Africa/the MENA region. It is more akin to the Horn than to that region.

The Horn of Africa includes Eritrea, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Somalia.

Kenya could have been considered part of the Horn if it weren't for its population.

The confusion largely comes from the strong Arab identity in Sudan. Similarly, the Arabisation process especially in Egypt & to a lesser extent Maghreb/Tamazagha has also caused cultural identity issues.

It would've been awsome if the Egyptians & the Berbers fought against cultural arabisation like how the Persians/Iranians did.

Dude, HOA is not just a strictly geographic term, it is also a human geography term. Just like Australia is part of the West while it is Eastern physically.

Kenya could have been part of it, but alas, it is a Nilo-Bantu Protestant nation totally at odds with the rest.

Sahib it’s literally a geographic term due to looking like a horn geographically, it’s literally somaliweyn, the rest don’t resemble any part of a horn lol, Kenya isn’t part of it because it doesn’t look like a horn geographically

Arab culture is synonyms with Islam for many people so they most likely won't object to it.

It is used both in physical geographic and human geographic terms.

Scandinavia includes Denmark but excludes Finland.

Try editing out Eritrea from the Horn of Africa Wikipedia page and see how little consensus there is for your ideas.

There are many Muslim countries that have retained their native cultural identity, such as Turkey, Malaysia, Iran to name a few.

Although, it would be an uphill struggle to remove the Arab cultural influence in North Africa, especially in Egypt.

What does Scandinavia have to do with geographics, Horn of Africa isn’t the same and is a geographical term

Check the map again, these other countries don’t look anything like a horn lol

The general consensus is that Eritrea and Ethiopia belong to the Horn of Africa.

Stop being autistic and conform to generally agreed upon norms.

Outdated due to Ethiopia being given Ogaden and having Eritrea simultaneously under it, once Eritrea gained independence it should have been removed from the horn as it has no geographic connection, once Ogaden leaves Ethiopia should also be taken out due to having no geographic connection

The Ethiopian-Eritrean highlands + Danakil region + Somali areas = physical areas of the Horn.

Europe has no clear boundaries either, who gives a f*ck, everyone knows what is meant by Europe nevertheless, same with the Horn of Africa.

You keep making false comparisons, Europe is a continent which can be drawn up anyway, Horn of Africa is a geographic depiction of a literal horn, and no the Ethiopian and Eritrean highlands aren’t apart of it

Europe is not a continent. Eurasia is the actual continent. Europe is just a social construct.
