Ceerigaabo local gov lays the stone for the most important road for the district

The Tabaca pass a 60 km narrrow road that goes through via +Daalo linking Ceerigaabo and the soon to be
started Maydh port. When the road reaches Maydh it is expected it will be continued east wards
towards up to coastal Waqderiya (around 100 km) .This will be very beneficial for the district
economically.

The Daarod are building the most strategic road ever in Somalia. A road connecting Boosaaso to Ceerigaabo. Soon, the diaspora can land in Boosaaso International Airport and go straight to Cal Madow mountains and relax in the cool Ceerigaabo weather.

The only cool weather is in Shacabka and the northern green mountains of Daalo. Duke of Harshaw has checkpoints there.


This is the most lush area in Ceerigaabo and it is called Shacabka.

Calmadow (East of Ceerigaabo near Badhan and Las Qoray), those
are the forest areas of Sanaag.
