Cannot Believe My Luck

Armadillo careful not to become a meme.

The lot of us are still dealing with happenstance and dilemma of your mentor 'inviting' you for his daughters wedding that made you awkwardly silent because you had been with her in a little place and you just found out that your long term mentor in fact hailed from the same 'small sea-side' hamlet as you!

The intelligent and objective conclusion to this is to not mock or say it is not real especially when one doesn't have prove of it not being real.

Armadillo I wish you heartfelt success in this world and the hereafter.

Alhamdulillah, Earlier this year, I swapped my £165k 3 bed Kent home, for a West London 5 bed property, that I've found out to be worth a whopping £1.2million. I think, I have cracked the property game.
Congratulations walaal, you are one of the very few Somalis in London who owns property. I’ve met timo jileec who own like 5 houses and make a fortune renting out their property. I wished Somalis invested in property in the UK before the prices went up but unfortunately they arrived too late.

Who pays the stamp duty tho. It is going to be sizable considering the difference in prices between both properties?

You must have paid a big percentage at the beginning to pay off a mortgage in 3 years. Congrats.

Saxiib, I share all of my personal stories, from success like this thread, work, to even terrible times like when I was robbed for my family KFC bucket meal by a group of school boys. I'm building up a rapport with fellow Somalis, I hope to be leading in the not to distant future.

Not really, the ones that came in the 1990's could have bought one then for cheap, everyone else had the recession. In 08/09.

I'm always asked, why do I share personal information and photos on this forum and Twitter? The reason for that is, I have political aspirations.

My plans are, withing the next five to ten years, to move to Somalia. I want to establish a boat manufacturing company in Bari. I want to do my part for the country, I want to provide jobs, and help the people in any way I can.

In Sha Allah, with that I want to do my part. I want to familiarise myself to the land and the people, and for them to get to know me. Once I have achieved that, then I want to run for either Puntland or Jubbaland President.

I don't want to be the typical person of the diaspora, who takes money from mothers for his campaign, who comes to the country and straight away runs for office, without doing a damn thing for the people first.

It is with that wish, I hope to help our people and country.

Appoint me as your finance minister. I will be an honest thief. I'd steal things in proportion. I won't take more than a million* out of the state coffin during my 5 year term.

*This depends on the economy. If theres a drought, I wont make anything. If we wont survive elections, I might take more.

Odd, that the only people hating, happen to be gaals. These people don't like seeing or hearing Somali success.
Don't mind him, he's just a loser. I mean, this was the man who removed my sticky thread, just because I called him stupid. But then again, he's your fellow gaal, so go lick his arsehole.
warya here are several bars of soap for that dirty mouth of yours:

You have to admit it sounds outrageous. I promise I’m not a hateful person lol. Anyway, I won’t steal your shine. I’m not claiming anything.

P.s you’re doing something right. @Basra is infatuated with you, a motorcycle driving, million dollar estate owner, can you say mashalla, all that’s left is to lose at least 15.

To be honest, I did this because I did not live in London. No way in hell could you find a 3 bed property for under 300k. Also, I'm sure there are plenty of Somali homeowners. Not everybody lives in council homes or is a private renter.

Not at all saxiib. Because it was a house transfer and not a sale, the cost of the stamp duty was remarkably less than it would be if either of us bought the property.

Would you believe me if I told you, I don't have no friends. The success that I have today, both financial and career wise, is down to not having a social life. Even before I got married and became a dad, I've always been about work work work. Those are the sacrifices I've had to make.
Don't you ascribe your succsess you have to Allah

Ma aha Allah bro, keep smashing it as for me I’d rather stay lowkey about my aspirations and my money moves.

Where I’m from it’s a lot of jealousy and envy but there are also a lot of qasaaro Somali boys which undoubtedly will undertake the responsibility of slaying ****** as a forte.

And being in the property business forces you to deal with riba (usury) which Allah has waged war against. Can you advice me how to flourish and do the best one can in these circumstances akhi
