No, Somalia technically are confederation and it works fine. Puntland goals don’t align with Somali government, we have our own stand army.
Somalia is a federal country, SNA will get equipped and PL can either accept its status as a FMS and partake in the state building process or be left out.
What are the goals of puntland do you guys want a confederation or USA style federalism or some other type of federalism?

It’s good for the government to stick closely to the US. They’ll be the one’s deciding the arms embargo and IMF debt relief etc. Also the one’s who support us most against Shabaab.
