I actually support this, the West is a dying institution, China and Russia are the future world powers. We must take advantage and be like Syria who cleaned out terrorists with Russia.
WTF is wrong with this administration? Why and how Russia will supply us while they are already facing shortages themselves?. Beside that, why we are going to take it from Russia while our whole country from budget to environmental crisis is on US-EU charity, I mean are they at least ok with it?

That tweet about supplying is true, I don't know why they seek russia when they are plenty of other options. Because we don't have any great relationships with them and they don't have weapons for their soldiers in Ukraine.

This war and material sanctions has drained russia. You can find plenty of articles and pictures online of russia ammunition shortages, You can also see in battlefield how they are using old vintage retired tanks and repurposing weapons. They have asked china, north korea, iran, and south africa for weapons and some have been smuggled to them. Majority of those countries scared of american sanctions so do it on the low.
Why would EU and US care if Russia gives Somalia military equipment for free? And this is a warning move on the US and EU. If they won't lift arms embargo we will find other avenues to equip our military.
Hopefully puntland get their fair share of the weapons
