Bosaso has a much higher living standard than anywhere in Somaliland including a higher GDP per capita. The rest of Somalia only gained access to Bosaso in 1988 when the road was built from Garowe to Bosaso so it has had far less time to develop than the rest of Somalia it's port was also constructed in 1988.

All somalis invested in Xamar rather than thier own lands. That's why we all suffered after the interhamwe uprising. Never put all your eggs in one basket and thats why we support federalism.
It's a big problem in Somalia. Xamar has everything but other places don't. Lack of roads is another factor. Instead of investing in Luuq, I have to invest in Xamar.
We have the same thing, where everyone's runs to Hargeisa leading the other cities left behind. Hargeisa is hot & dusty wanna build up erigabo

Secondly, Maroodi Jeex has the same amount of IDPs in half the amount of land as Bari, and they're majority concentrated in Hargeisa.
Thirdly, Hargeisa was rubble in 1988, that's no excuse.

I am sure you think Hargaysa has higher IDPs and therefore the IDPs will drag down the average. First of all, there aren't that much of IDPs to drag down the income 4 times below Bosaso lol. Seondly google 'stratification'. Proportion kulaha like this is some elementary percentage calculations
