this town has never seen any way yet has barely made any developments in 30 years.... discuss
What group are you talking about? This is what happens when a group of unintelligent people inhabit one area, they're unable to improve their standard of living and remain stagnant.
What group are you talking about?
Do you have a problem with this group cuz im sensing some jealousy!the group that lives in bosaso
Puntland cities have developed nicely. Wasn't Garowe a tuulo in the early 2000s?? Now its a city. They never been the same since the world bank survey come out
Bosaso was just a small tuulo before 1990, i think they have done well for themselves with no government handouts
All somalis invested in Xamar rather than thier own lands. That's why we all suffered after the interhamwe uprising. Never put all your eggs in one basket and thats why we support federalism.Puntland cities have developed nicely. Wasn't Garowe a tuulo in the early 2000s?? Now its a city.
It's a big problem in Somalia. Xamar has everything but other places don't. Lack of roads is another factor. Instead of investing in Luuq, I have to invest in Xamar. All somalis invested in Xamar rather than thier own lands. That's why we all suffered after the interhamwe uprising. First of all, the fact that you think you can make that claim based off of your holy report, shows how unscientific and biased your reasoning is....Bosaso has a much higher living standard than anywhere in Somaliland including a higher GDP per capita. The rest of Somalia only gained access to Bosaso in 1988 when the road was built from Garowe to Bosaso so it has had far less time to develop than the rest of Somalia it's port was also constructed in 1988.
In comparison to Hargeisa, Bosasso residents enjoy a higher standard of living if we compare average daily incomes. While urban residents of Hargeisa earn, on average, about $1 a day, Bosasso residents earn over $4. Naturally, with respect to Bosasso, IDPs earnings are far lower. Most IDP households in Bosasso earn a daily wage of a little over a $1

The Bantu and Hawiye IDPs in Bosaso make more money than the native residents of Hargeisa
And tell us what proportion of Bosaaso is IDP to native (and then compare that to Hargeisa). Also, tell us the sample size the report used to make this conclusion. In comparison to Hargeisa, Bosasso residents enjoy a higher standard of living if we compare average daily incomes.
