The only thing that has stopped Somali men and women from marrying Bantus historically, is not even that they are Bantu, but that Somalis are naturally drawn to Horner features. If it was about being perceived as 'inferior', Somali men wouldn't have married Oromo women, they captured in war. The more that Somalis consume Western and other Media, and become used to 'other' features, East African Bantu men will become more attractive. It's the truth, the more you see something, the more it becomes normalised.
In addition, if the use of Khat increases in Somalia, and Somali men continue to look down on certain jobs, in the difficult economic climate back home, don't be surprised when Bantu men become higher-earners and thus, more appealing. It's rare now, but will it be rare in future, who knows....
If the Somali men back home, are smart, they'll start doing more and more manual labour. It's an easy way to be seen as virile and masculine (working with your hands). As a woman; I can tell you, women like men who can provide, women are biologically engineered to seek security. At some point 'ceeb' and 'dadkaas ma guursano', will not work as much.
